How do I know what credit cards I will be approved for before I apply? I am thinking about openning up another credit card but I don't want to lower my credit score by applying for a lot of cards. Is there a way I can determine what credit card companies will exstend me credit before I apply? For example with
1. Credit scores from 400-500 these companies will exstend you credit.
2. Credit scores from 500-600 will exstend you credit.
3. Credit scores from 600-700 will exstend you credit
4. Credit score over 700 + will exstend you credit.
All of this is assuming you have a checking, savings account and a full time job making $50,000 a year etc..
Thanks for your help! |

Answer:
The choice of credit cards depends on your credit score, which is calculated taking into account your payment history, amounts owed, length of credit history, new credit, and types of credit used. It's clear that the most important factor is your record of paying your bills on time. If you aren't aware of your credit score and apply for a credit card, not complying with your credit rating, you take risk of lowering your credit score because of credit card company refusal you're likely to get. Therefore the first thing you're recommended to do is to get your credit score from nationwide credit bureaus: Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax. Also, you can order your credit score through the official online source established for this purpose. Once you've known your credit score you can regard respective online bank credit card applications and apply for a credit card affordable. |

phone numbers for discover and citibank |
|
Answer:
Generally speaking the purpose of our website is to inform the credit customers about up-to-date online bank credit card applications and present all required data for them to be able to compare credit cards online most effectively and choose a credit card, complying with their needs and corresponding to their credit score. Regretfully we are not provided with credit card issuers' contact information, therefore we can't tell you the phone numbers you're asking. Our suggestion is the following: if you have credit cards from Discover and Citibank, just look at the back of the credit cards and you're sure to find there toll-free phone numbers of customer service. Another way is to access official websites of these credit card issuers and find all contact data therein or contact their online customer service. |

hello i wil like to open a credit for my self a credit card but im 17 years old and my fatther will give his signature , consent , for me to have a credit card but where do i go an apply.. |
|
Answer:
To tell you the truth, an applicant regarding any of online bank credit card applications, should be at least 18 years old. If you're 17, you're considered underage. Nonetheless, you can get or, to be more precise, get access to credit cards. Most state laws demand, you must be 18 years old (a young adult) to obtain your own credit card and be held responsible for repaying the debt, because minors are not allowed to enter into a binding contract. You can qualify for a credit card, if you farther co-signs, but only he can be held accountable for the payments. Apply to the bank you trust and you're sure to get access to a credit card! |

What are the differences between :
Introductory APR: 4.99%
Introductory Period: Until
Paid Off
Ongoing APR: 12.24%
Default APR: 21.24% |
|
Answer:
As it appears from your inquiry, you want to accept one of our low rate card offers with fixed APR for life, or to put it differently, until your credit card is paid off. Many people choose fixed rate cards, where APR doesn't change often. Even the APR on a 'fixed rate' credit card can change over time. However, the credit card company must tell you before increasing the fixed APR. To sum up, your intro APR will be valid until you pay your card off. Once you've paid off your card, there is no necessity to cancel it! And in this case, you'll face ongoing APR. Sometimes if a card issuer notices inactivity on your card, they might try to lure you back with another low-rate offer. To keep you as a customer your bank may offer you another 'intro period' later on, and lower your APR. Default APR means usual APR increasing in case you're late in making payments. Make your payments regularly, and your knowledge about default APT will remain theoretical. |

Would Washington Mutual Visa be a good company to do a balance transfer with? |
|
Answer:
As it appears from your inquiry you want to obtain one of balance transfer cards. Thus you're welcome to choose any of our credit cards with balance transfer, corresponding to your credit score and your personal demands. Many of applicable credit cards provide 0% APR intro period up to 12-15 months, some of them require no balance transfer fee, for instance, Discover platinum card, Blue American Express card and some of CitiBank cards. Thus, these are cards, which are considered to be the best tools for balance transfer operations. Washington Mutual group (WaMu) offers traditional consumer and commercial banking services, deposit accounts, mortgages and other loans, including, as far as we're concerned, pre-paid credit cards' issue, namely, Visa Classic Check Card, which has nothing to do with credit cards and balance transfer operation. Unfortunately we do not feature any of Washington Mutual credit cards. If you want to learn more about Washington Mutual, please, access their official site. |

I would like to close my account. Who do I contact to do this? |
|
Answer:
Before closing your account apply to the bank and consider this question with them as we don't deal with accounts. We just give information about the latest and the most topical credit card applications from the leading banks of the USA, the UK, Canada and Belgium. We also help people to see the peculiarities of different cards and compare them. As far as your question is concerned, you should know that closing a credit card account is more than just paying off the balance. You should receive confirmation from your bank that your financial responsibilities with this credit card account have been fulfiled. |

I need a credit card with a $10,000 Limit for emergency is that possible |
|
Answer:
The creditors define credit limit according to your credit abilities. Credit limit depends on the terms of your credit card and may be changed according to your credit history. If you possess excellent or good score, you are welcome to our best credit cards section, read the terms and conditions very attentively, compare all requirements and limits and choose the card fitting to your needs and interests. Be careful before applying for the card with a high limit because if you are not able to maintain your credit line, it will damage your score. But if you pay off your balance on time, it can help you. |

I had a credit card from MBNA that was a Texas flag and it said "Don't Mess With Texas" on it. they have now been bought out by Bank Of America and no longer offer that Texas card.
Are there any other companies that offer a Texas flag motif? |
|
Answer:
Unfortunately, we don't deal with a Texas flag motif card, so can't provide you with any information. Among the cards we present are Discover cards, American Express cards, Chase bank cards, Citibank cards, cards from Advanta Bank, First Premier Bank, Orchard Bank, etc. As far as Taxis card is concerned, it is better to look for all the information about this card in the Internet. |
